Sharon Zhou grew up in Wuhan, a metropolitan in central China. She attended Beijing Foreign Studies University, which teaches 101 world languages and boasts a large exchange student body. This experience allowed Sharon to appreciate diverse cultures and perspectives, and she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
In 2013 Sharon attended Michigan State University to pursue a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations. This specialization satisfied her passion of making meaningful connections with people.
After graduation, Sharon joined Cummins Inc., a global manufacturing company headquartered in Columbus, IN, and has held several positions with the company. Her current position is Sr. HR Business Partner, based in Indianapolis, IN.
Sharon maintains close relationship with her alma mater and is a two- time speaker in Human Capital and Society class, discussing topics including diversity and inclusion, and women in leadership. She also volunteers with School on Wheels to tutor children impacted by homelessness.
Sharon lives in Carmel, IN. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, photography and spending time in nature.
