Marchelle Berry

In 1989, Marchelle moved to Indiana from Missouri after graduating from Evangel University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. She served along-side her husband, Chet, in full time ministry from 1989-2019 while continuing to pursue her career in business.

Marchelle has been involved in the real estate industry since 2005 where she’s held positions in residential and commercial sales and leasing, real estate appraising, real estate development and land acquisition. Marchelle has worked extensively in the development of affordable housing through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.

As the Real Estate Associate for RealAmerica Development, she was involved in the development of 14 affordable senior, workforce and multi-family apartment communities, each providing integrated social services for the residents. In addition, her work involved development of market rate apartments and the adaptive reuse of historic buildings.

Marchelle holds an Indiana real-estate managing broker license and is currently the Vice President of Development for T&H Investments.

Marchelle’s heart for serving her community began during her high school years working at camps which provided children a reprieve from difficult living situations in struggling neighborhoods of inner city St. Louis.

That same passion continued throughout her adulthood resulting in the establishment of community outreaches and the organization of VBS camps for children living in the inner city of Indianapolis.

Marchelle and Chet have three young adult children, Austin, Rachel and Sam. The family enjoys spending time together rehabbing their farm property in northern Indiana.  She and Chet also enjoy hosting international tours to the Middle East.
