In Neighbor for Neighbor, Beneficiaries are newly arrived immigrant families inside the United States that arrived through or are undergoing lawful humanitarian pathways to US citizenship and are in need of additional legal, financial, cultural, language, and community support to enter a stable path to self-sufficiency and thrive.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible as a Beneficiary for the program applicants must meet the following criteria: 

  • May be a family or an individual.

  • In need of core services.

  • Applicants must be one of the following immigrant statuses (and have paperwork proof):

    • Asylum Seeker (asylum applicant receipt)​

    • Temporary Protected Status (approved TPS letter)

    • Refugee (form I-94)

    • Afghan SIV (form I-94)

  • Applicants have lived in the United State for no more than 1 year since their initial arrival as one of the immigrant statuses listed above.

* Priority will be given to children, the elderly, and other vulnerable individuals in need. Patchwork Indy reserves final discretion to which cases will be prioritized or accepted.
