  5. Begin their Explorer’s Logbook (aka Travel Diary) project

  6. Demonstrate curiosity and understanding about the diversity of cultures in North America, including Indigenous and immigrant communities.

  7. Retell one cultural tradition (e.g., beadwork, mariachi music, storytelling)

  8. Create, explore, or perform something based on a cultural practice from North America.
