Dr. Kenneth Holland

Dr. Kenneth Holland, former chief international officer at Ball State University and Kansas State University, has extensive experience in leading international development projects in Asia.  He was the Senior Civilian Advisor to the NATO and US mission in Afghanistan to build the rule of law and was President of the American University of Afghanistan.  He recently served as Chief of Party for USAID’s higher education project in Pakistan.  With funding from not only USAID but also the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, US Department of State, US Department of Education, the Henry Luce Foundation, and the Eurasia Foundation, he led projects to strengthen higher education in Iraq, Tajikistan, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, and Mongolia.  He was a Fulbright Professor in Japan and Fulbright Specialist in Myanmar and, most recently, Uzbekistan.
